Now that the summer holidays are here and alot of us have some valuable time off, whether at home or abroad. You may be thinking – now I’m on holiday I’m supposed to be taking it easy, but so many of us end up putting on weight on holiday. So, now is the time to get active, get outside and make the most of the weather.
Exercise doesn’t have to be boring. Why not take a trip to the park for walking, jogging or cycling. Organise a game of rounders or football. As well as swimming in the sea there are plenty of games to play on the beach like football, frisbee or cricket. If you are abroad try out some of the local sports on offer such as snorkelling or kayaking. If all else fails get your glad rags on and go dancing!
